Once you have a property, you may be eligible to pay non-Domestic rates. These are property-based taxes that the Council collects on behalf of the Scottish Government.
The amount you may be due is based on a proportion of your rateable value. The Scottish Assessors give all non-domestic property in Scotland a rateable value, a legally-defined valuation of a property.
You may be eligible for a range of relief (discount) schemes. Visit Fife Council to discover more information and support on business rates.
