Fife Council’s Economic Development team proudly concluded a successful learning journey to DSEI 2025, one of the world’s leading defence and security exhibitions, held in London this September.
As part of the Council’s Defence Ready Programme, and building on the momentum of the highly successful Fife Defence Supplier Event, eight ambitious Fife-based businesses were supported to attend through our Trade Development Programme. The visit enabled direct engagement with global buyers, primes, and supply chain leaders — positioning Fife firms at the heart of international defence conversations.
The delegation generated over 30 business enquiries, highlighting the strength and relevance of Fife’s capabilities in the defence sector.
Key outcomes included:
• Face-to-face meetings with international buyers and decision-makers
• Exposure to cutting-edge innovations in defence, aerospace, and security
• Benchmarking against global standards and identifying new routes to market
• Strengthening Fife’s reputation in the Defence supply chain
