InvestFife is pleased to recognise the generosity of Inchdairnie Distillery, who kindly gifted a bottle of their exceptional locally crafted whisky to support the recent civic twinning visit to Ingolstadt in Germany.
The visit marked an important moment in the long standing relationship between the two regions, strengthening civic and cultural ties and encouraging future opportunities for collaboration. As part of the visit programme, the Provost of Fife, Jim Leishman, presented the gifted bottle to Second Mayor Dr Dorothea Deneke Stoll as a symbol of goodwill, friendship and shared heritage.
Inchdairnie’s whisky was chosen to represent Fife due to the distillery’s commitment to quality, innovation and local craftsmanship. Its inclusion in the ceremony provided a distinguished showcase of Fife’s thriving distilling sector and reflected the region’s heritage along with its forward looking approach to food and drink excellence.
Dot Smith, Enterprise and Business Development Manager for Fife Council’s Economic Development Team, said:
“We are very grateful to Inchdairnie Distillery for their generosity and support. Their whisky is a superb example of the craftsmanship and ambition that define Fife’s business community. Sharing it with our partners in Ingolstadt was a meaningful way to celebrate our connection and highlight the strengths of our region.”
We extend our sincere thanks to Inchdairnie Distillery for their contribution and for helping to promote Fife on the international stage.
