This project comprising of site servicing will deliver a prime site to the market ready for immediate development at Fife Interchange South.
Located along the M90 investment corridor this prime site is well connected to the rest of Fife, Scotland and the UK by road, rail and river.
The site forms part of a strategic joint venture between Scottish Enterprise and Fife Council. Around 16 ha of land was sold by the joint venture partners a number of years ago to facilitate the development of a 1.1m sq ft fulfilment centre occupied by Amazon UK.
The joint venture partners are marketing the site which is suitable for large-scale manufacturing or logistic uses.
Fife Council has secured approval under the Scottish Government’s Tax Incremental Finance initiative which provides the Council the opportunity to uses its borrowing powers to fund the delivery of infrastructure works. Proposals are being designed for the delivery of an initial phase of infrastructure works by the Council using its existing capital secured as part of the joint venture.
