Fife Business Week 2024 has been hailed a major success, with over 690 attendees participating in 22 events, further solidifying its reputation as a key event for Fife's business community.
Organised by Fife Council’s Economic Development Team and Business Gateway Fife, the week delivered a range of workshops, networking opportunities, and sector-focused events. Highlights included ‘Hydrogen Opportunities for Fife Businesses,’ the popular ‘How to Sell at Trade Shows’, and the ‘Fife Tourism Showcase,’ which highlighted opportunities within the region’s thriving tourism sector.
An attendee of the Dunfermline and West Fife Tourism Showcase remarked:
"It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about local businesses and connect with others in the tourism sector."
Meet the Buyer: A Key Highlight
The flagship ‘Meet the Buyer’ event drew over 320 attendees and featured the popular Construction Zone, which connected local businesses with major buyers including Fife Council, BAM UK & Ireland, Scottish Power, and Kilmac. Attendees explored contracting opportunities and established valuable business connections.
