This limited place event offers a rare opportunity to explore Ingenico’s UK operations and learn how payment terminals are prepared, managed, repaired and returned to use.

Ingenico has a long history in Fife. Its local operation began in 1970 as Fortronic and moved into payment technology after securing a major banking contract in 1977. The business relocated to Dalgety Bay in the early 1980s and has traded as Ingenico UK Ltd since 2003. Today, it forms part of a global payment technology group with an international reach.

During the visit, you will see three key parts of the Dalgety Bay operation:

The main office, home to teams working across customer contact, finance, sales, engineering, testing, research and development, and human resources.
The warehouse and customisation centre, where payment terminals are stored, branded and securely configured for customers.
The warranty and service centre, where around 11,000 terminals are processed each month for repair, reuse and return to stock.

The visit will show how Ingenico combines technology, technical expertise and large scale operations at its Dalgety Bay site. It will be particularly relevant to people working in fintech, financial services, technology, engineering, manufacturing and related industries.
