Following the Automate to Accelerate Programme 2025, Fife Council’s Economic Development Team, in partnership with Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS), is delighted to deliver a one-day, hands-on workshop as part of Fife Business Week 2026.

Automate to Accelerate: Lean, Data & Automation in Action is a highly interactive, simulation-based workshop designed to help businesses improve productivity, build capability and accelerate the adoption of process improvement, data and automation.

Through a live “Sticklebrick Factory” exercise, participants will experience the challenges of real-world operations and apply practical solutions to improve performance using:

  • Process Improvement (Lean)
  • Data for decision-making
  • Automation readiness

The session is designed to help businesses move from reactive, inefficient processes towards structured, data-led and scalable operations.

This workshop is ideal for businesses looking to improve efficiency, competitiveness and productivity through practical, applied learning.
