Fife Council’s Economic Development Team is inviting expressions of interest from Fife businesses wishing to attend DSEI Germany 2027, taking place from 9th–12th March 2027 at the Messegelände Hannover, as part of our Trade Development Programme.

DSEI Germany is Germany’s major new defence and security event, created to connect European governments, armed forces, and industry with the technologies, capabilities, and suppliers shaping the future of defence. Backed by the German Ministry of Defence and delivered in partnership with the global organisers of DSEI UK and Japan, this landmark event will showcase modern military equipment, advanced technologies, and integrated defence solutions.

Held for the first time in 2027, the exhibition responds to Europe’s heightened defence requirements and modernisation programme, providing a platform for strategic dialogue, capability development, and international collaboration.

DSEI Germany features multiple dedicated zones—including Air & Space, Land, Naval, Cyber & Information, Joint Support Systems, and International Pavilions — each offering live demonstrations, exhibitor showcases, and opportunities to assess next generation defence capabilities.

Support Available

A limited level of support may be available to help eligible Fife businesses participate in this learning journey.

This may include contributions toward travel, accommodation, and/or event participation; however, the exact level of support will depend on available budgets at the time of allocation.

• Businesses that have previously received funding may receive a lower contribution
• Final support levels will be confirmed once all applications have been assessed
