
Fife Council’s Economic Development team are hosting Forth Green Freeport: Driving Fife’s Green Growth Through Opportunity, Investment and Innovation as part of the 16th Annual Fife Business Week.
Scheduled for Monday, 3 November 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, the event will take place at Dunfermline City Campus. It will bring together business leaders, investors, policy makers and other stakeholders to hear how the Freeport will deliver long term growth for Fife.
Delivering Growth for Fife
As part of the full business case, £25 million in seed funding from Government has been confirmed, with around £13 million allocated to projects in Fife. With governance structures now firmly in place, the Forth Green Freeport (FGF) is entering its delivery phase. This marks the beginning of significant opportunities for investment, innovation and skills across the region.
