Pittenweem Preserves opened just four years ago in 2018, when a local store asked Fiona to supply homemade jam to sell to locals and visitors. From that modest start Pittenweem Preserves jams, chutneys and vinegars are now stocked in award winning farm shops and some of Scotland’s most prestigious places including Rosslyn Chapel, The Royal Botanic Gardens and many of The National Trust for Scotland properties.
Using her lifelong love of jam making, Fiona makes all the preserves in Maslin pans in batches of no more than 14 jars. Fruit and vegetables are sourced from local farms and gardens where possible with only top quality produce used.
