K107fm provides a service for the town of Kirkcaldy and surrounding areas in Fife.
It reflects all aspects of local life and involves a multitude of local voices. The output covers a wide range of community interests, with programmes for local people by local people.
Within this programming is the ability to promote businesses and organisations through radio advertising and sponsorship opportunities, with discounted rates for local SME's and longer term campaigns
K107fm is also signed up to the Radiocentre Trustmark initiative, aimed at reassuring listeners that they can trust the advertising messages they hear on radio. There is no compulsory pre-vetting for online and press advertising, but the system for radio is different. All radio ads for special category advertisers must be pre-vetted and approved by the clearance team at Radiocentre, the commercial radio industry’s trade body.
