FIFE CELEBRATES AS THREE BUSINESSES SCOOP SCOTTISH RETAIL FOOD & DRINK AWARDS
A trio of Fife-based businesses are celebrating having scooped top honours at the inaugural Scottish Retail Food & Drink Awards.
The Dunfermline-based Wee Tea Company scooped the small producer award for tea and tisanes in the hot beverages category for its Rhubarb Rooibos, whilst Growers Garden, based in Cupar, was recognised in the small snack producer category, for its yummy broccoli crisps.
In the meat category, Auchertool’s The Farmer’s Son picked up the top honour in the haggis, black and white pudding category for its black pudding, whilst its white pudding received a highly commended award.
Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards Director, Antony Begley, said:
“The Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards were created not only to help producers secure listings but to help retailers unearth fantastic Scottish products to stock in their stores.”
