A series of workshops based around manufacturing for growth are being hosted by Fife Council Economic Development and delivered by NMIS and Eureka! Europe. The workshops will be delivered in person at the Enterprise Hub Fife in Glenrothes starting at the end of August and running for six weeks.
Each of the workshops will last a full afternoon, starting off with an introductory and strategy activation session in a bid to lead and ignite innovation. A workshop on data-driven manufacturing will support businesses to embed innovation through operations and supply chains to create opportunities and efficiencies, whilst session three and four will be about communication ideas to increase the odds of success, and how to validate and understand the probability of the success of an idea. The final two workshops will introduce climate change and the impact this will have on businesses as the country transitions towards Net Zero, and finally, how to commercialise innovation and what techniques will reduce risk and increase speed.
