LISSIE Lingerie, founded in 2023 by Melissa Hardie, has officially opened its first shop in Glenrothes, marking a major milestone for the fuller bust lingerie brand. The idea, first conceived in 2018, came to life on October 4th this year when the business launched its new dedicated bra fitting studio.
After trading from a small, rented office on Telford Road, growing demand for professional fittings prompted the move to a larger premises. The new studio, located at Unit H5a, Newark Road South, Glenrothes, is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and offers a private, welcoming space designed to put customers at ease.
The opening day celebration drew over 200 attendees, with bubbly, traybakes, raffles, and exclusive discounts creating a festive atmosphere. Melissa expressed gratitude to the loyal customers who have supported the brand both in-store and online and said, “I really wanted to create a brand that truly cares, because for so long I felt like nobody did,” she explained. “Through our knowledge and personal experience, we can help almost everybody who wears a bra, especially if you’re a D cup and up.”
