We are looking to support a limited number of Fife businesses to attend DPRTE 2024 as part of our Trade Development Programme. The show takes place on the 27th of March 2024 in Farnbourgh.

Connecting buyers, suppliers, prime contractors and academia from across the defence acquisition supply chain, DPRTE provides extensive skills development, networking, collaboration and showcase opportunities for organisations that are actively working with the defence sector or that are exploring ways to work in the UK’s £20bn+ defence procurement marketplace.
Supply Chain Engagement – The Ministry of Defence manage over £20 billion of third-party procurement spend every year. The size and complexity of many projects requires the Department to work closely with key industry partners to ensure delivery of the defence programme, with over half of the annual spend flowing through their Strategic Suppliers.
Equipment & Supplies – The UK defence sector, with an annual turnover of over £20 billion and supporting 260,000 jobs, is vital to protecting our country from global dangers and safeguarding national economic prosperity. Across Land, Sea, Air, Space and Cyber the sector creates thousands of specialist and highly skilled jobs, in addition to creating billions in export income.
Space & Innovation – The space sector is worth over £16 billion per year, and represents a significant opportunity for the UK to strengthen its space defence capabilities.
The National Space Strategy outlines the UK’s vision for building a world leading space economy worth almost £500 billion by 2030.
Market Development – Understanding and engaging the market is key for suppliers looking to sell to defence sector. The Market Development Zone will deliver a series of sessions aimed specifically at suppliers, offering support in building your business across the defence sector.

These spaces will be supported and limited to one person per company which will include flights, accommodation (if required) and exhibition entry. We will require an evaluation form to be completed following your attendance, to gain feedback and insight into your experiences, and to ensure we continue to support and engage businesses to attend/visit tradeshows and exhibitions that will be of value to you, as a business.
